Favorite Recipes
Hello Everyone,
It is so much fun for me to see you all growing up so well. Cute students, moms, wives, and generally great adults. What a blessing you all are to Papa and I. We really love you all so much and think you do such a great job with all that you have going on. As per your requests I am posting two of our favorite recipes. The first one is for Oatmeal Cookies and the second one is for Whole Wheat Bread.

We really love you all so much and think you do such a great job with all that you have going on. As per your requests I am posting two of our favorite recipes. The first one is for Oatmeal Cookies and the second one is for Whole Wheat Bread.
Cookies
2 Cups sugar
2 Cups applesauce
31/2 Cups flour
2 tsp. cinnamon (I add a little extra)
2 eggs
1 package chocolate chips
1 Cup butter
1 T. soda
2 tsp. nutmeg
dash salt
3 Cups oatmeal (I add an extra cup or two)
1 Cup nuts (you know...)
1 Cup coconut
Combine sauce and soda. Stir. Let stand. In a different bowl, mix butter and sugar. Add eggs, then sauce mix. Add sifted dry ingredients, and then everything else.
Spoon onto a cookie sheet. Cook for 9 min at 400 degrees.
Whole Wheat Bread
51/2 Cups very hot tap water
2/3 C. honey
1 T. salt
2/3 C. oil
8 Cups whole wheat flour
2/3 C. gluten
Combine the preceding 6 ingredients in a mixer in the order they are listed.
Mix 1-2 minutes
Add 3-5 T. Rapid Rise Yeast
4 Cups whole wheat flour
Mix 10 minutes
Divide into 5 loaves. Roll each out into a rectangle with a rolling pin. Roll up into a loaf. Place in a greased or "Pammed" loaf tin. Let rise 30 min. Should come up fast. Bake at 355 degrees for 30 minutes.
Good Luck
Happy Baking!!!
