I LOVE conference weekend. I heard so many things that I really needed to hear. My favorite from today was Presdent Uchtdorf. His message was filled with hope. Everything that he said spoke to my heart. Heavenly Father will never give up on us. Which talk was YOUR favorite??
Thanks for the flowers Isaac and Jonah!!

Codye said he absolutlye adored President U's talk at priesthood. I think every talk he gives is meant just for me or my fam. I love him. I loved all the talks he gave and I loved a few others from Sunday morning. I'll have to look to see who gave them.
I especially enjoyed the talks that mentioned going to the temple more. I feel like living in Logan has been the perfect place for me because the temple is always in view. And I'm gettting good at achieving my goal of 2 trips a month. Hooray!!
getting better at, I should say. Getting better at achieving my goal to attend the temple.... :)
I thought of you when someone was saying "You will never be lost if you can see the temple", and it was the LOGAN TEMPLE!! I loved every one on Sunday AM. LOVEYOU!
I LOVED Pres. Monson's talk in the closing session. I realized how little I do sacrifice and that I need to be more grateful for what I do have. I'm really excited for the ensign to come out so I can go over all the talks again. They are so uplifting!
I think it was the new apostle who talked about never being lost when you can see the temple, wasn't it?? Maybe not...I swear, when I'm watching and listening, I think I'll never forget, then the next speaker comes on with another amazing lesson, and the names just wander out of my brain...
But, yea, Sunday A.M. was really special to me, too. I really liked Elder Oaks. He's pretty straight-forward:)
The one about "never being lost when you can see the temple" was not the new one. I think his name is Neil Anderson. The one about the temple was just before Elder Bednar I think, or just after.
Talks are online audio right now. "Read" version on Thursday. New apostle is Elder Neil Andersen. The talk about being lost was Sunday afternoon, and it was after Elder Bednar. The man's name is Stevensen. I just listened to it again. Pretty cool. Wonderful talk. Loveyouguys!
sorry i'm out of the loop a little bit. i was able to watch conference at my own house with my little family and that was just WONDERFUL! my wonderful husband hooked up the laptop to our tv and we just sat and enjoyed. i didn't realize how much i took that simple act for granted back home in UT. spencer and i colored each of the apostles (ties, hair, eyes, glasses etc) and played bingo. He's finally at the age where i wanted him to be with us even if he didn't understand what was being said. it was tricky but i think we made a dent.
