Well darn......

Sunday AM about three we started a new adventure. Bill started coughing. It would only stop when he would stand or sit up. This is not a good thing. About two in the afternoon we added throwing up. By four we had emailed Dr. Muhlestein, who was out of state, and called the "on call" doctor. Of course, they wanted us to go to the ER. This time we decided to drive straight to IMC. We wanted to save the ambulance ride from LDS. Our care was phenomenal. All of his vital signs were great. His symptoms stopped by about nine pm without any treatment. All nice things. His ultrasound looked as good as when we left in February. That was the visit that started in January. That gives us a perfect record. We have been in the hospital all three months of the new year. The problem is that they like us so much. They love to have us stay. They want to poke and prod old Bill until they figure out what is going on. We are still here and enjoying the accommodations of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. We again have a room with a view of Costco and the mountains. After a few tests and hospital dialysis, we are again headed for what they call the "cath lab". Dr. Muhlestein returned from his latest conference to save the day. He is going to do the procedure that the other cardiologists were afraid to do in his absence. He is going to go "through a stent" to place another stent. Complicated because it is at a branch of the artery and next door to an old (January) stent. Hope you got all of that. Bill is going to have another angiogram preceding this placement so they will know where everything goes. We were told that this would all happen about three this afternoon. I told them that just because they thought it would be three, it would get bumped up sooner. Well they just told us that it is going to be right away. We'll see. Sorry to post before we know everything went well, but I guess you will just have to stay tuned! He just left. Expected time is one and a half hours.......Love to all. Thanks for your support and concern.
