Tired, but Happy

When the head doctor of the Trauma Team calls you "Miracle Man", you know you must deserve the title. We still have questions unanswered. Stomach (dialysis) fluid seems to have no infection. Not a final answer, however. There is still a question about his lungs. He does have a slight fever, so something is going on somewhere. He sat up in bed today. That was his physical therapy. He has to be vigorous in his therapy. It will keep him from having trouble with his lungs, and it is good for his arteries. He is still dependent on "helper" drugs for his BP. Last time we went through this, it took him about four days to get off those drugs. His spirits are very good. He is tired tonight. He didn't sleep well last night. But he has big smiles for everyone that comes in the room. He really is amazing.
