He thinks that all of the problems (nausea, gagging, low BP, no appetite), are from the pain medication. He also thinks that Bill is still somewhat dehydrated. He thought that he sent Bill home from the hospital with Celebrex, which is an anti-inflammatory. He meant to. So now we are taking Celebrex, which he was taking in the hospital. The plan and hope is that taking it will reduce the need for the narcotic. He thinks that the gagging re injures the ribs. Wants to see him again on Monday. He warned us that he will be out of town from Thursday til Monday, and so we have to "behave". Some of you might remember that anti-inflammatories are bad for someone in Bill's condition. But right now it is the lesser of two evils. That is the report for today.
